Dominant agricultural and economic systems have both pushed society forward yet degraded the natural land and oppressed the people living on it. While environmental and social activists have made progress, there is a ways to go. The Pennycress Company is well aware of these historical facts and is actively working to right past wrongs.

 

• Our products will benefit not only farmers and our industry partners, but a much wider portion of humanity - those historically oppressed by and/or excluded from agriculture. 

• Through our hiring practices will form a diverse and talented team who shares our vision of social and environmental justice. 

• At The Pennycress Company we promote community outreach, operate with transparency, learn from examples, and track our JDEI goals with data.
